Obama may have thrown more punches, but Romney was more persuasive and is sympathetic. Even untrained observers felt that he was being unfairly attacked by Obama/Candy.

Romney is now winning the post debate fact checking. I don’t think this debate will give either candidate a big boost, but I do see Romney continuing to pull away with it.

For a punch to count, it must land. And I think Romney deflected the vast majority of them. Romney's punches landed and for the most part were not deflected. To wit: Fast and Furious, Obama's pension investments overseas, Current unemployment, oil and gas exploration/production. Some of these, Obama never even attempted to parry.
