I think Manchin is up again as the 2010 vote was for just the remainder of the term.

Manchin is indeed on the ballot again this year.

I am so hoping that he loses!

Does anyone from WV have any insight as to Manchin’s prospects?

Joe Manchin is good for re-election this year.. At any time, though, I would not be surprised to see him depart the Dims and go Pubbie... JMO!

He IS an astute politician, and WV is turning redder every day!!

In the mean time, Shelly Capito-R (2nd Dist Incumbent) and David McKinley-R (1st Dist Incumbent), and Nick Rahall-D (3rd Dist Incumbent

Being related to Rep. Nick Rahall has its perks.

The long time congressman tacitly approved of his sister’s dropping his name to advance her lobbying career. Meanwhile, when his son found himself facing jail time for a serious felony conviction, Rep. Rahall pleaded for mercy, in a letter on official congressional stationery. Rahall junior received a suspended sentence.

Rep. Rahall is an eighteen-term member of Congress, representing West Virginia’s 3rd congressional district. He is the ranking member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
