Dinesh D'Souza, president of The King's College and co-producer of the hit documentary "2016: Obama's America," is facing scrutiny for his relationship with a woman whom he has introduced to some as his fiancée. D'Souza is currently married but has filed for divorce.
The Indian American, who was raised Catholic and now identifies himself as a nondenominational Christian, stayed at a hotel with Denise Odie Joseph II during an apologetics conference last month in South Carolina, according to World Magazine.
D'Souza told conference organizer Alex McFarland that nothing happened that night though they shared the same hotel room, the magazine reported.
Though still married to his wife of 20 years, Dixie, D'Souza had also introduced the young woman as his fiancée to a few people at the two-day conference that took place at First Baptist North Church.
D'Souza filed for divorce from Dixie on Oct. 4.
The Board of Trustees of The King's College released a statement Tuesday, stating that they were aware of "admitted difficulties" in D'Souza's marriage. But there were other details in the magazine story that the board was not aware of, prompting them to hold a "special session" with the college president to learn about the situation.
The board will again meet this week to continue its review and investigation.
"Until we complete this internal process we do not intend to publicly address any matters related to Mr. D'Souza and his relationship with the College," the board stated. "In the meantime, be assured we take seriously our charge to teach a compelling worldview rooted in the Bible and expect all of our leaders to model Christian character and integrity in their public and private lives. Our primary concern will always be for our students and we promise appropriate communication with them as quickly as we can do so responsibly."
The King's College head told World on Monday that he is suspending his engagement to Joseph. In her Facebook profile, Joseph lists among her "favorites" D'Souza, Ayn Rand, Pat Buchanan, Sen. Rand Paul and RonPaul.com.
D'Souza was named president of The King's College in 2010. He is the author of The Roots of Obama's Rage (2010) and most recently Obama's America. His film "2016," which is based on his books, is the second highest-grossing political documentary in U.S. box office history.
Posted yesterday, and if WaPo can be believed, they filed for divorce in California.
WHy would they file for divorce in CA? Doesn’t it still take a year to get a divorce there? (Not that that matters to anybody.)
Obama and all are afraid his message in 2016 is reaching a wider audience since the video has just been released.
So now they attack the film maker.

This reads like a supermarket gossip rag.
I guess I really didn’t know much about the Christian Post, but based on this.... I WON’T be relying on it for any credible news.
Certaihly not for news of a Christian perspective.
In an article he wrote during the primary, he said his brother-in-law said to him something like, “Since when did you become a Democrat.” since he backed Romney in the primary.
I have read somewhere that Dinesh was once engaged to Laura Ingraham and also at another time to Ann Coulter.
Clintonian, Baraqqi, or whatever.
It sure looks like Dinesh left himself wide open to criticism.

Well, then a lot of what is being discussed and reported here at FR is frowned upon in the Bible, especially as it relates to Democrats.
Might as well ask the mods to delete most of the posts and threads relating to a person’s private affairs.
Seems like Obama has been attacking quite a few filmmakers lately.
