"Assistant Superintendent Beth Clark told RTV6 the technology use policy was followed and what happened was quite by accident. Nevertheless, Troutt and other students have been suspended and threatened with expulsion.
Clark would not do an on-camera interview, but she said the students' punishment will not be changed. If parents disagree with it, they can appeal.
Thank the Lord it wasn't me that was said to, I probably would have had to be restrained from going across the desk at her.

Stupid teacher. She should be fired straight away along with whoever is threatening the kids.

It’s become obvious that about a quarter or so of public school employees are mentally disabled and should be no where in the direct vacinity of a kid.

Both the teacher and the Asst. Sup. should be fired — teacher for the act; Asst. Sup. for stupidity. The kids should be reinstated.

Well, I believe that the two most important questions are:
1.) Was she hot?
2.) May we see the pics?

There has to be more to the story than this. It’s not believable that the students would be suspended if this just popped up. They must have been in a directory they shouldn’t have been in or something.

The school district said it has taken preventative action against the teacher, but they wouldn't specify what action, Pasties???

Who cares about the teacher’s boobs. I’m pissed that they had school issued I-Pads.

That was my first thought also, what were they doing playing games on an I-Pad during school anyway?

Here in Indiana they’re going heavy with iPads.
Significant cost savings over textbooks.
I realize Apple is on the FR unacceptable list, but the textbook publishers probably fail on the same criteria.

Huntsville, Al city schools doing the same thing. Supposed to cost less than books. Problem is no lock down capabilities. Students apparently allowed to go wherever they want on the world wide web.

Despite being located close by, I’m unable (so far) to find a picture for the FR jury to vote on.

My two kids cost me $300 this year in textbook rentals between the two of them, I am so sick of Indiana doing this, for 14 years I’ve had to pay some ludicrous price for a POS old worn out old textbook.
On a side note, why the heck did they go with iPads and not Kindle? Heck of a price difference there...

You’ve obviously never worked in a school and apparently didn’t read the article either. The teacher SYNCED her iPhone with the school supplied iPads, probably not intentionally, and had the topless photo of herself on her iPhone. The discipline action is entirely believable given most schools “zero tolerance” policy on so many things. So also is the administration trying to protect the teacher. Let’s just say todays public schools aren’t exactly staffed with the best and the brightest.

Arcane concepts such as "fault", "responsibility" and "fairness" have absolutely no place in the New World Order of Zero ToleranceTM!

Seems to me that elimination of the public school system altogether would be the most significant cost savings of them all.
