It was easy for Obama to step into the happiness vacuum in ‘08 and talk in nice platitudes about “hope and change”. A war-weary public ate it up, without every questioning what it meant or the man delivering it. Now, in 2012, Obama has a “hope and change” record, and he can’t run from it. Believe me, if the economy was booming he’d be singing it from the rooftops and his re-election would be sealed. But Americans have pretty much always voted their pocketbook and this time is no different.

When Obama loses, will ANY libs have the courage to speak out and admit they were duped by the rock star/messiah image? We’ll see.

The most powerful argument each candidate has against the other is that their agenda has been tried but failed. That is why Obama keeps linking Romney to President George W. Bush, and why it was so important that Romney finally got some distance from Bush at the Hempstead debate.

Candy - Obama's main 'ho' did that for him. From behind Candy's skirt could be heard the plaintive cry - 'Link him to Bush - link him NOW'... and in good form - Candy asked Romney how he was different than Bush.... Eff you CNN...
