Obama's parsed statement on Libya attack suggests a 'crime,' not terrorism
American Thinker ^ | 10/18/2012 | William Tate

A review of Barack Obama's statements shows that Barack Obama Tuesday night lied to the American people, live on nationwide TV, about his response to the attack in Libya. In perhaps the debate's most heated exchanged, Obama claimed that the day after U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed in Benghazi he called the attack on the U.S. consulate "an act of terror." He did not. (Snip.) His was a carefully parsed, umbrella statement. It does not declare that the Benghazi attack actually was an act of terror. Instead it merely espouses general platitudes about "acts of terror."

Note the use of the plural, "acts of terror." Wouldn't it be great NOT to have an attorney in the White House?

I absolutely agree. In his closing remarks on September 12, Obama stated that the guilty people will be brought to justice. I immediately thought that we had reverted to a pre - 9/11/2001 mentality where these are now considered civilian crimes, not acts of terror or war.

Obama and Crowley choreographed the debate?   (Posted on 10/17/12 at 10:14 p.m.)
When the inevitable Libya question was asked, Obama baits Mitt by saying, “I said on day one that it was an act of terror.”

Mitt, knowing the administration sold the youtube theory around the world for nearly two weeks after the attack, moves in for the boom.

Obama says “check the transcript.”

Moderator picks up a piece of paper and says “he’s right.”

Why did Obama say “check the transcript” and Crowley just happened to have one sitting right in front of her? What are the odds?

Then what else is left for her to do, but incorrectly back up the president in front of millions of people. The most puzzling thing during this orchestrated insanity is the crowds applause as if the president has just been exonerated. They were in effect applauding the idea that the president knew it was a pre-planned terror attack on day one and had been lying to the world the whole time.

Did the president and Crowley orchestrate this exchange and bait Mitt into it?

Did he use a TelePrompTer for the rose garden speech? Probably a rhetorical question, but I’ve never seena president do that in the rose garden, they usually have a small podium or note cards.

It’s far worse than anybody realizes. I watched the entire clip starting with the question, which Obama answered first. He puts forth his ONLY brief answer which he ends by stating that he called it an “act of terror”. THEN when Romney heard him say that, he jumped all over him. He was walking into a set up. Immediately, Obama told Candy “to go to the transcript” which was somehow already in her hand. Folks, how did Obama know she had the transcript if there was no collusion? This was a set up. Obama used those specific words to make sure Romney used them too. He was set up. They threw out the bait and reeled him in.

Romney should have said......

“The American People are offended that you would pretend a video is responsible for your foreign policy failures!”

You just read my mind!!!! I posted the same exact thing! I notice this the first time I saw the full clip replayed (which few one seem to playing in full). If it was this obvious to both of us, do you think a lot of other people are catching on, too?

Nobody has explained yet why State Dept personnel tweeted that they were sorry for the video that caused the riot...

...when there was no video and there was no riot.

something else is up.

it was planned imo

The most probable answer is that Obama told his staff to wake him in the morning even though they tried to wake him. Now they are trying to cover for HIM by saying it was a crime and not terrorism at all. They would destroy America to keep this off the presidency.

It was the Teleprompter’s fault!
