Boy, he certainly threw his “fiancee” under the bus. What a guy!
I appreciate what he’s trying to do.
He’s obviously found himself in an embarrassing situation. He’s not trying to suggest it isn’t awkward. But he is attempting to handle it (the circumstances and the underlying relationships) in an honorable way. Not an easy thing.
His resignation is a sign that he is even willing to sanction himself whether the accusations are true or not. That is character!
