I really don’t know heartwood. I think Collin’s family was protecting him and Robbie might have been too scared to say. DA couldn’t get enough evidence I suppose and I’ll bet the farm that no law enforcement official thought it was anyone but Collins but didn’t have enough evidence to prove it so he goes on, grows up and eventually ends up being in prison in 2001 for sexual crimes against an 8 year old. He’s a registered sex offender who is out of prison for that conviction. Maybe NOW justice will come for Robbie and his family. I pray that is the case.
