The writer is secular or an historicist, someone who submits all past narrative to examination based on established principles of textual criticism and philology. Almost all of the people who are doing the ground breaking research into the origins of Islam and the life of the pedophile prophet are secular. Some are former Muslims. All cut very low profiles and keep far away from any public forums. However, the current investigations into the origins of Islam and the development of the Koran are literally explosive as they undermine and deny almost the entire elaborate structure of the accepted historical narrative about these topics.
