Any warrant that would ensue would be issued and executed locally, => prompt lynching and dismemberment.

I'm not a lawyer but I dimly remember reading somewhere that for a person to be extradited under treaty their action has to be a crime in the country they are being extradited from as well as the country they are being extradited to. Draft dodgers were not extradited from Canada during the Vietnam war because there was no draft in Canada so no such crime as draft dodging. Obama's Justice Department would have a hard time agreeing that what these men did was a crime in order to extradite them to Pakistan. Not that they might not want to try but it might be an insurmountable barrier, even for them.

Barky would love to surrender some USG officers to international cops for trial in The Hague. Just love it. It's what he's all about -- arrogant Americans fall for 30 years on multiple counts of "American arrogance", "hegemonism", and what have you got? We'd have to consult with the nasty little Red dweebs at the National (Communist) Lawyers' Guild to get all the language.

That's his style, all right.
