I just received this email from the Romney Campaign:
Hi Friend - I am contacting you to see if you would be interested in participating in a unique volunteer opportunity this Election Day.
I will be heading up the national command center on November 6th and I am looking for talented volunteers to help out in key states across the country.
With less than three weeks to go, I am making a final push to bring on a few more supporters to help with this project.
Volunteers will be at the polling place from open to close on November 6th. These volunteers will be relaying critical information in real time, back to our national command center here in Boston.

I have a throwaway email account for political stuff. I get spam from the dhimmicrats all the time. I would love to get an invitation like this from one of them. It would be sweet to foil them at their own game by being in a position to watch them cheat from within enemy lines.

We could make a few calls now?Go to Romney’s site and volunteer to call people in Ohio and other swing states. Doesn’t cost us anything to save America, freedom , and our way of life. Obama is killing coal , oil, etc. and private companies. Just if we allowed the private sector to develop the U.S.’s unlimited coal, oil, natural gas, oil shale etc. just if the government and EPA got out of the way , energy would be the cheapest in the world for U.S. companies who could then outcompete China and other countries.
This POS Obama has closed 204 coal plants,
and done millions of other crimes,
piled on 11,000 new pages of federal regulations on business, and 13,000 pages more government regulations from obamacare coming,
did many unlawful executive orders,
6 trillion in new Obama federal debt etc.

This is about poll watching and documenting bad things that happen in the polling places in case there are post election lawsuits. I took the class here in FL from the campaign. If you are the sort of FReeper who does not mind a potential hostile situation for several to 16 hours, it is a good volunteer gig and well worth doing.
I just looked at the form. Is it a requirement to have a cell phone?
I don’t have one so I’m not sure if I should waste their time by applying if that’s the case.
I live in a county that voted 62% for McCain in 2008, so hopefully there wouldn’t be hostile situations here.
See Post 11. They want live reports of anything suspicious. So you need the ability to either send email or text. Do you have an iPad or tablet with remote internet access? Those would work as well.
I didn’t get the impression we would have to travel when signing up. I thought it was to oversee irregularities at election sites but here in Putnam I doubt I will see much. If it means travelling throughout NY I’m game.

LOL, I got the same email. I made another donation; who knows, you or I just might be in MA with President elect Romney election night. If I get picked, I’ll be one of those behind Hannity’s table jumping up and down!

In my training we were told that we must have a cell phone but there was some talk about purchasing them for the volunteers who did not have one. It would not hurt to fill out the form and make this issue clear once you are contacted.
