LAWRENCE ISN'T a violent felon or a stickup artist with a lengthy rap sheet. He's not a drug dealer holding down the corner with a Glock tucked in his waistband, or a straw purchaser selling guns to street thugs.
He's a Philadelphia church pastor and a robbery victim who routinely carries large sums of money and drives a nice car. So he applied for a gun permit last year for his personal protection. --snip-- L&I posted on its website Lawrence's full name, address and the specific reasons he wanted the permit - along with an interactive map to help users find their way to his doorstep.

One of the complaints leftists had about private gun ownership is thieves would steal them. But now the leftists are doing all they can to help those thieves.
Good Lord. Why would anyone ever think it a good idea to publish such things?
If I was “Lawrence,” I think I’d upgrade from that LCP to something with more oomph and higher magazine capacity now that a target has been put on his back.
Let me guess, the numbskulls at city’s Department of Licenses and Inspections (L & I) accidentally posted the information. Or esle they did it with GOOD Intentions and blame on hackers.
And I’ll bet they will be SHOCKED! (SHOCKED! I say) to learn anything bad further happens to Lawrence.
Publishing gun permitee addresses is just putting the “Philth” in Philthidelphia.
Well then somebody should post the Names, Addresses and PH Numbers of every Police Officer, Public Official, Sheriff and Constable in the same area

The Lord helps those who help themselves.
They want to intimidate or cause harm to gun owners to advance an agenda.
And He specifically told his followers to sell their cloaks and buy swords. In modern terms, “Maxim his oppressor as a Christian ought to do.”
Well, get the name(s) of all those involved in this, and published all their names and addresses with the note: “does not own a gun to protect their home and family”.
If they are going to publish applications for conceal carry permits under the rubric of public information, then they should also publish the names of those who have applied for welfare, food stamps, wik, etc.

one idea of gun restrictions from a leftist point of view is to hinder their possession by the law-abiding. It has the (to them) desirable side effect of tipping the balance in favor of criminal redistribution. Publication of gun-owner addresses has a similar effect: robbers can either know to go in hot, or to target the locations as sources of weapons.
Leftists include cynical, violent, criminal favoring redistributionists as well as mush-headed, sighing anti-gunners.
Salons Stephanie Jones writes If ballots were bullets how If Americans cared as much about their voting rights as their gun rights, theyd be up in arms right now.
Well, Stephanie, if you werent a big-city bigot, you would know that gun owners are as dedicated to voting rights for all legal American citizens as we are gun rights for all legal Americans.
Stephanie claims that evil Republicans are disenfranchising millions of Americans by advocating for Voter ID laws.
If Stephanie had the brains God gave a Bluetick Coonhound, shed recognize that all of the laws we have concerning purchasing guns disenfranchises millions of Americans of their Second Amendment rights to acquire a gun freely and easily.
If she werent an ideologue, she would realize that if we treated guns as we currently treat the right to vote, we could mail order our guns with little more than a signature and a sworn affidavit of sorts.
Were guessing this hack of an amateur journalist is not in favor of shedding the hundreds, if not thousands of laws on the books relating to acquisition of firearms.
And we see nary a single syllable of concern from her over folks who may be disenfranchised of their right to keep and bear arms because of gun laws.
Nary a peep.
Thanks Stephanie.
