Before you vote this November, keep these facts in mind:

The economic recovery, which began in 2009, is the weakest in more than 70 years. Economic growth since 2009 of 6.8% is the weakest of any recovery since the end of WWII. At this point in previous comebacks the economy had grown an average of 15.5%.

Consumer spending since 2009 of 6.5% is the weakest of any economic recovery since the end of WWII. At this point in previous comebacks consumer spending had grown an average of 14%.

Hiring since 2009 has replaced 46% of the jobs lost during the recession. At this point in previous comebacks hiring had grown to an average of 350% of jobs lost.

This is the most consequential and important election of our lifetimes. Make no mistake; the reelection of Barack Obama would be devastating to this country. We literally cannot afford another four years of this stagnation and debt. His reelection would signal to markets and investors that the US is not serious about getting our debt under control or our economy moving again. It would signal that the petty politics of envy and class warfare had triumphed. Millions of investors and business owners are currently treading water, waiting to see which way the election goes. If Obama remains in office, much of the entrepreneurial class will give up, close up shop or move overseas. That would trigger another recession, more job losses and a period of possibly permanent economic decline.

Our current economic problems go back 50 years or more. Obama exacerbates them but he hardly created them.

Obama exacerbates them but he hardly created them.

He is a student of a political philosophy that very much created our problems.

As a symbol of whats wrong Obama'll do just fine.

Exactly!

And just because everything’s not Bush’s fault that doesn’t mean NOTHING is Bush’s fault.

Not his fault alone but his 8 years were wasted. No progress made whatsoever on the problems that are poised to drown us,.

Going back to the “glory days” of 4 years ago is an awfully low bar to set. We need to be undoing tings that LBJ did as well as Nixon, Carter, and even Reagan (in the case of amnesty). Clinton effectively shipped the American steel industry offshore.

I think Reagan was the last non progressive president we had.
