NV Energy wants $9.8 million surcharge to make up for conservation

CARSON CITY — Despite higher-than-expected summer revenue, NV Energy is seeking the OK for a $9.8 million surcharge to make up for revenue lost as the result of conservation measures taken by its customers.

This is happening all over the country. Locally in FL, a small city (Deland?) wants to raise the rate the people pay for water—because they conserved too much!

It’s the logical outcome of doing what government asks. Don’t they ever get tired of being wrong?
