If Biden were Romney’s VP, he would preside over the Senate. That is his constitutional role. There, he would get a vote only to break a tie. His other role would be to swear in new Senators. He would get little or nothing else. No trips to shake hands anywhere. The President runs the executive branch of the US Government, and the new President would in all likelihood cut funding to the VP’s office and not make life easy for the knucklehead. Also, extra Secret Service protection for the President would be warranted for obvious reasons.

So “Vice President” would be, for Biden, a largely ceremonial title. UNLESS - something should happen to President Romney; then we have an idiot as President.

That's why Biden being Vice President would not be ceremonial. It would be a massive incentive for every Liberal attempt to assassinate President Romney. Such attempts would unquestionably happen.
