In response to Gov Romney's comment about the loss of numbers in naval vessels, President Obama boldly responds with the activation of the reserve fleet.
President Obama today ordered the USS Constitution to the Straights of Hormuz.

If they could deploy some commanders of the same stripe as Edward Preble or Thomas Truxton, with similar orders, and some nukes, most of our problems in the Middle East would disappear.

Obviously an Air Force idea for an Aircraft Carrier! ;-) The rule on Air Force Base construction is first you put in the Golf Course, then the runways. ;-)

How does the Army secure a building? - Vertical envelopment
How do the Marines secure a building? - Amphibious assault
How does the Navy secure a building? - They blow it up with Tomahawks.
How does the air Force secure a building? - A five year lease with a guaranteed renewal.
So, the Constellation is on active duty with the Coast Guard now?
The Air Force is jealous that the Navy has airplanes, and they don’t have ships.
