I thought Romney’s strategy was very smart, and not one I would have thought of. But it makes sense, if he’s ahead, he doesn’t need to take a risk of giving Obama momentum. By attacking Obama, it could work, and he could win by more, or work against him, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
I think he must feels he’s ahead, and history is certainly on his side. No incumbent has won with independent support as what Obama has.
Sometimes I think O’Reilly takes contrary positions just to show he is an “independent thinker” and “above” politicians.
