Perception is reality. There is nothing in All Red’s claims but it doesn’t matter. The hope is simply to get a nothing story on the nightly news so that voters who are busy preparing supper, playing with their dog or whatever hear the following words in a brief segment:

Romney... sources confirm... uncovered... court documents... sealed documents... bitter... settlement... devastating... hidden... objections...

The voter who doesn’t yawn through the story but only hears it as background noise now has the idea that something sinister involving Romney has been unearthed. Nothing could be further from the truth but subliminal persuasion is a very powerful tool.

It is not the nothingness of the story that is reported, it is getting the key words used by the media to describe this nothing of a story in play that is the goal.

Again, perception is reality.

And how exactly is this story worse than the “Romney killed my wife” meme they were running with earlier? Basically, the Obama campaign has returned home to the only trick it has.

Yours is the whole story in a nutshell.

In the centuries-old communications business "Buzz Words" are words used to intentionally spur inner emotions in the reader or hearer for better or worse.

For instance, the words "Hitler", "clandestine", "global-warming" or "affair" are buzz words that can be craftily inserted in sentences for propaganda purposes or to move a person's thinking in certain directions.

WHETHER THE COURT DOCUMENTS ARE RELEASED OR NOT, the rumors and speculation about the subject matter will continue. Allred has already accomplished her purpose.

The buzz words and phrases you so aptly mentioned in your post above plus those of an even more graphic nature will be strewn about everywhere by Allred, the media and all their ilk.

Buzz words alone can destroy a person's reputation or even alter the course of history.

However.....if, indeed, this is in regard to the Staples case, I doubt if anything will impact the Romney campaign to any worrisome extent. The Red Witch waited too long to pour the brew from her cauldron.
