Gloria Allred & client arrive in Canton MA
Client is Maureen Stemberg Sullivan, ex-wife of Staples founder Tom Stemberg.
Allred & Boston Globe are moving to remove gag order on Stemberg Sullivan, and release Mitt Romney testimony.
Still not a big Mitt fan (he'll be more RINO than GW Bush... so it's up to us to hammer Congress, and get the Senate), or of the GOP party leadership, but hopefully the kingmakers in the GOP made the right call this time around.
Does this woman own any other color jacket?
Will some reporter PLEASE ask her if she is headed to Chicago to represent the mother of Donald Young, force the Chicago PD to release phone records relating to the murder, and reopen the yet unsolved murder of her son? After all, Gloria represents women crying out for help.
Remember, this was before Staples went public and the Romney camp is saying his testimony covers the value of Staples. My guess is she will claim Romney undervalued the company in his testimony and her client walked off with thousands while her husband walked off with millions. Just my personal speculation of where she is going with this.
The Boston Globe was told that the testimony has far more than merely “valuing a business”. They heard that Romney backs Sternberg’s character, in the face of accusations of spousal battery by the ex-wife. She clearly told Allred this, or else Gloria would not have made the trip to Boston. The romney folks should not be so quick to not object. They should simply stay out of it, and let Mr. Sternberg’s lawyers strenuously object, as they are.
Make no mistake.
Gloria is there for Gloria and no other reason.

Then she and Aldred will be sued into utter devestation. They will need to sell body parts to eat a lunch.

This is ultimately NOT going to be about the documents. It’s going to be about the gag order. It’s going to be about allowing this woman to run to Oprah to tell “the rest of her story”, and about the Romney campaign having to deal with whatever lies she presents as new information. She will be able to say anything she wants, and there are plenty of stupid people who will believe her.
LOL. I wonder if the ex-wife lied to Allred to gin up publicity over her vendetta against ex-hubby and maybe re-open the case. One shark eating another. That would be delicious.

I agree that this is likely nothing but in the eyes of a desperate O campaign and MSM hungry for anything on Romney they will use this as fodder for the next two weeks showing Romney as anti-woman. How many divorced women are out there who feel wronged, didn’t get the alimony/support they wanted and are bitter and now look to the government for help. These women are who the O campaign is after and this fits their narrative of Romney being anti-woman. Even just going to court this morning will allow them to cast him in this light even though it is not true.

She's clearly looking to cash in on her divorce and use her familiarity with Mitt for her financial gain. How can any judge allow this to happen?

Isn’t this interesting? Allred ‘bombshell’ is about a divorce and Trumt’s bombshell is allegedly about Obama’s ‘divorce’,,,are these two situations related? What timing!

The trouble with this theory is that if Romeny also acted as a fact witness as to ex-hubby's character it would kill his credibility as an objective expert on the issue of valuation. The two areas are at odds with each other and no competent attorney would use a single witness in this fashion.
