The Obama campaign has released a transcript of the presidents conversation with the editorial board of the Des Moines Register. This comes after the newspapers editor complained that the campaign insisted that the conversation, which was part of Obamas push for an endorsement by the paper, be kept off the record.

THE PRESIDENT: Hi, how are you?
Q Very well. We havent spoken in four years. Were excited to be able to talk with you.

Caught in another lie: "When the sequester is in place"
This is almost too easy.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Could you summarize the key points — what is being sequestered? Thanks
Bob, I just need to comment on this. First of all, the sequester is not something that I proposed. Its something that Congress has proposed. It will not happen. The budget that were talking about is not reducing our military spending. Its maintaining it.
Keeping track of their lies is the hardest part of this administrations job. And, they're terrible at that, too.
The sequestration is the part of the budget process referring to massive cuts in our defense budget. Obama outright lied about not cutting our defense budget in the sequestration process during the debate. His campaign walked the lie back the next morning and here in this transcript he almost brags about cutting our military budget.
Is there anything of import in this interview? Any damning statement or gaffe? Why did Obama want it off the record?

This is all a plant by the White House. I saw this story earlier today and read the transcript, also politico has a bit about it as well. Just fishy.
