The Donald offers a $5 million reward payable to the charity of Obama's choice for the release of Obama's records, etc.
This is a challenge directed at Obama himself. Presser at 12:15 today.
I, for one, am not holding my breath. 0 will release his records 2 weeks after Hell freezes over. And then only if he can get independent verification.

Total guess, but based on the ridiculousness of Trumps message — even for him, the Romney camp pulled him back and Trump had to do something at noon. I doubt this was his original intention, but whatever Trump had would likely have backfired. This won’t even go noticed except as a punchline.

One upside, but I wonder how fast the MSM whom elected “the One” rush to link “the Donald” and Romney.
The MSM has too much stake in this. They elected him, were part of the story in electing him, and they are protecting their misbehavior as “journalists”. They will never admit they didn’t do their jobs (we know what their job was, to elect the “first Black President”) vetting Barry. They were part of the campaign and like most narcissists, will never admit they were wrong and go down with the ship.

This is tantamount to Trump saying “Sorry guys. I was bluffing. I got nothing!”
$5 million dollars is NOTHING to either of these 2. Obama could donate $5 mil to charity himself and never miss it and not have to release his transcripts.
If Trump really wanted to put the pressure on Obama, he should have upped the ante to something like $100 million. That would have really put the pressure on him.
It is also possible that rather than interfere with the Benghazi email blow-up, he decided to temporarily shelve what he has and replace it with a smoke screen like this.
Trump should have made him an offer that he couldn’t refuse like $25 Million or $50 Million - at least $10 Million.
That what I would have done if I had Trump’s money.

Disappointed, but truly didn’t expect Trump to have much outside of needing to get his name out there for attention. Although, if this were another planet and the Pres. actually did accept this “challenge”, I hope Trump was specific in what type of charity - would hate to see it go overseas to a nefarious group that he really supports.

What the donald is doing is offering obama a another chance at a major distraction.
Suppose he DOES take ‘the donald’s’ offer and releases his passport and other records.
And suppose ‘the donald’ finds them accurate in the hour he will devote to scrutinize them before issuing the check.
And what if ‘the donald’ then put them on public display, what happens then?
And just suppose ‘errors’ are found in some of these documents, (and there would be) we would find ourselves faced with another major distraction just like the Birth certificate.
‘the donald’ did it before with the BC and this could be just another attempt to help obama.
