(Reuters) - Republican candidate Mitt Romney was 1 percentage point ahead of President Barack Obama in Wednesday's Reuters/Ipsos daily tracking poll in a presidential race that is effectively a dead heat less than two weeks before the November 6 election.
In a reversal of Tuesday's results, Romney led Obama among likely voters by 47 percent to 46 percent, a statistically insignificant margin, in the four-day online tracking poll.

Does anyone know why RC Politics doesn’t use Reuters’ polls in their averages? Is it methodology?
Good to see Obama under 50% regardless...46% this close is not very good for an incumbent.

Whew. About 15 minutes ago, Michael Medved said Reuters/Ipsos poll just coming out had very good news for Obama. Either he mis-spoke or was given bum information

Nice headline, Reuters...they're all desperate - our local ABC TV channel went so far last night as to break down yesterday's ABC poll, which showed Romney ahead with a 1 point lead, to the actual raw numbers - Romney 47.51 and Obama 47.44 - to show that Romney wasn't really that far ahead, when the numbers weren't rounded, after all - I've never seen anything like it......
