SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) Gov. Jerry Brown has competition on the November ballot, and it's not just from a rival statewide tax initiative seeking to raise income taxes for school funding.
**SNIP**
In addition to Brown's initiative, Proposition 30, more than 230 measures for local taxes, bonds and fees will appear on the local ballots, said Michael Coleman, fiscal policy adviser to the League of California Cities. More than 100 of those initiatives are being put forward by school districts and community colleges for construction bonds and to buy equipment and make repairs.

Don’t worry. I reading here at lunch time that a new “study” from the Sanford and Son Center for Poverty and Ignorance has found that everyone won’t mind paying massive taxes.
Based upon the way Nevada has been voting, Californians are already there with their voting ways.
That explains Colorado’s voting pattern and new their marijuana economy.
How about a ballot initiative to abolish all taxes and eliminate local government?
Someone in Arizona said that ~20~ years ago under the first term of Jerry Brown - and Democrats fled California in droves to move into new housing developments in Phoenix - now the once very conservative Arizona is much more liberal, and much less attractive.
Not to worry though - democrats are fleeing California once again - but, they've mostly been going to Colorado, ruining that once very conservative state.
In the War on Poverty... Liberals Side With Poverty
They love poverty so much they want “immigration reform” (open borders) so they can import even more of it.
The real, rural Nevada still exists, but tons of Libs from the Bay Area have moved into Reno-Sparks and the Carson City area along with the Libs from Southern California who invaded Las Vegas.
Those libs are former California teachers, firemen, policemen, public employees who bled California taxpayers dry and are now moving out of state and taking their CalPERS retirement dollars with them.
LOL - the dems are good at cannibalizing others.
