First, school records are open records that can be accessed. Obama had his sealed.
Second, tax records, whether yours or mine, or Romneys or Zero's aren't open records.
Politicians, if they choose to produce their tax records, do so at their discretion.
But school information is generally open.
One man took his public records and made them private and another man wants to keep his private records private, and you're equating that they are the same.
Now, lets see YOU have your records sealed, and see what it takes to get that done.
No there isn't. I disagree with your claim that school records are open to anyone who asks for them. I doubt that I could call your high school or college and demand your grades and expect them to comply. But in any case Trump is also demanding passport records, which are private. As private as one's tax records. And none of them are required by law.
I think Trump's actions are a stupid stunt designed to get his name in the headlines and nothing else. No rational person should believe that Obama would possibly comply, not after having refused to produce them in the past. It isn't going to change any votes. And should some liberal try the same stunt with Romney's tax records then I would expect Romney to refuse. And I wouldn't expect that to change any votes either.
