CINCINNATI—Mitt Romney raised nearly $112 million for his presidential campaign and the Republican National Committee in the first half of October—putting him on pace for a potentially record-breaking fundraising month for his campaign.

Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul announced the number in a message on Twitter. The total included cash raised between Oct. 1 and Oct. 17, according to the campaign.

No further details were offered, such as the breakdown of how much money went to the Romney campaign versus the Romney Victory Fund, a joint committee formed between his campaign and the RNC. I’m trying to keep the faith, but this race is sooo close and there is no reason logically for it not to be a given for Romney

Romney should call a press conference, announce that he is releasing 50 million for Republican Senate candidates to help The Wave.

My gut tells me it’s a 54-56% to 43-45% race. 54-45, 56-43,, ie, a landslide for Mitt.

The mediates and pollsters have so clouded the battlefield that it’s easy to lose faith.. the winds of Election Day will leave no doubt, this nation’s gubamint is not for sale to foreign entities or parties with anti-american agendas..

Seriously? One one hand you have the many Republicans who didn't want Romney as the nominee and on the other you have the "historical nature" of the Obama presidency.

I've always said the later was a key obstacle. If Obama was John F Kerry or John McCain, a reelection bid would've been unthinkable.
