I’ve carried both, I never was completely comfortable with cocked and locked.
It’s isn’t possible to beat a 45 although I think I would rather have the 1911.
Carrying a 45 requires a large holster or I would carry one concealed but concealed is difficult and I think uncomfortable with the 45. I carry instead a tiny 9mm. It is a small gun with a small bullet but it is easy to have ALL the time. A personal carry gun is only good if you carry it and I know too many people who have relegated their 45’s to the night stand.
Why is it that the confiscation of assets of criminals goes to the police department, why doesn’t it go to the general fund?
We need to get rid of the incentive of cops to bust somebody in the hope of making the dept money.
