I can’t help fighting back the tears every time I hear that story, and the pride in my heart that we have the potential of electing a great person to lead this country.
I think people are going to pleasantly surprised at the winner we have in Mitt Romney.
At first I was not a Mitt fan, just really didn’t know much about him and I wondered early on how I could vote for him. The more I hear about him, I now wonder how could I not vote for him. Truly a good man with a good heart.
They are Mormons and he was their Bishop.
No one has said that Mitt is not a powerful leader within Mormonism or that he doesn’t live entirely within that bubble.
I’d like to hear a warm fuzzy story like this, but with Mitt and a Presbyterian, Catholic or Methodist. Seriously.
Way to twist a message. This has nothing to do with being a “powerful leader” of anything.
Bishop Romney is engaged in becoming God, that entails not just the verified payment of at least 10% of his income, but also devotion to works for his Mormon religion and tribe.
A Mormon cannot become a God with his own planet of worshipers without doing these things within Mormonism.
They believe that our God was once a man who did all this right, and became our God, just as his father did before him, and his before him, etc., and as Mitt will do.
