When the histories of the 2012 campaign are written, much will be made of Bill Clinton’s re-emergence. His convention speech may well have marked the finest moment of President Obama’s re-election campaign, and his ads on the president’s behalf were memorable.
But there is one crucial way in which the 42nd president may not have served the 44th quite as well. In these final weeks before the election, Mr. Clinton’s expert advice about how to beat Mitt Romney is starting to look suspect.
You may recall that last spring, just after Mr. Romney locked up the Republican nomination, Mr. Obama’s team abruptly switched its strategy for how to define him. Up to then, the White House had been portraying Mr. Romney much as George W. Bush had gone after John Kerry in 2004 – as inauthentic and inconstant, a soulless climber who would say anything to get the job.
But it was Mr. Clinton who forcefully argued to Mr. Obama’s aides that the campaign had it wrong. The best way to go after Mr. Romney, the former president said, was to publicly grant that he was the “severe conservative” he claimed to be, and then hang that unpopular ideology around his neck.

They are running a Bill Clinton ad for Obama that has to be one of the worst ads ever. So many mixed messages, it implies Obama is as big a liar as Willy.
Oh my heck - does anyone really think anything this guy does is by accident? The Smartest Politician Ever? He wants back in the White House only slightly more than he wants to watch BHO lose this election, and this “Ah, shucks, isn’t is awful how terrible everything still is?” routine is NOT intended to help. Good grief - how can they not see this?
The 2016 democrat primaries have already begun. Pelosi will be out, Reid will be in the senate but probably not in leadership. If we keep the house, regain the senate and presidency, a lot of old democrats will retire, so it look like Hillary will be the last remaining national Democrat, along with Debbie Wasserman Schultz maybe.

While Bill Clinton may be a lot of things, one thing he isn’t, is stupid.
Over at the DUmpster, they keep saying that O is playing three dimensional chess (Star Trek kind?) and Mitt is playing checkers. If anyone is playing 3D chess, it would be the Clintons. You can tell O is a moron by the fact that he thought he could outsmart them as well as trying to humiliate them; that’s a bad idea when you’re a moron. The Clintons are for the Clintons and they don’t forget a slight or anything else.

Regardless, this is a poor article. Reason for Obama crashing is that he has done a terrible job in office, the worst since Carter.
I remember when the McCain camp started faulting Palin around 2 weeks before the election ....do y’all remember?
