Allen West has served extremely well in his first term in the House. I live in his district, which is in the heart of liberal Broward and Palm Beach counties. He effectively put the insufferable Debbie Wasserman-Schultz in her place and made a very strong impact in this area. This is a significant reason why the GOP, Romney especially, is looking strong in this campaign. I hate to lose Col. West to the next district north in this upcoming election.
I think Allen West missed a great opportunity to win the Senate seat against Obama’s rubber stamp, Sen. Bill Nelson. It is a disgrace that Nelson, who pushed his history as an astronaut, sat quietly while Obama’s team gutted NASA. I think West would have beaten him. Connie Mack IV is struggling in this race.
Anyway, I would love to see West run and win the House Majority Leader position. He has a spine of steel and is just the leader we need to get our house in order and keep Boehner in line.
Naa.... musty old trow rugs would be fine.
Bolton for SOS.
p.s. Why in the hell has Rice's position at the U.N. been elevated to Cabinet level? Lunacy! Absolve that.
What? Slob?!?
Where in the hell did that come from. I completely agree with the assessment and even though I'm from out of state I have donated to his efforts many times. Allen West is a true American HERO!
Why in the world did you start name-calling over an honest assessment of the fatcs? The Lt. Col. needs some more political experience under his belt. He has made this clear himself many times.
Freegards, houeto.
His comment about McCormick Place is just silly. It’s the largest convention center in North America. They hold the Chicago Auto Show, among other things, there.
Nothing I would love more than to see men like Colonel West, whom I also believe to be a hero, raised up to the highest offices.
Some folks just cannot tolerate questioning of THEIR ideas. West has never mentioned any desire to become a cabinet member under Romney. As I said earlier, West seems to temperamentally be a fighter not an executive.
