The first debate between Zerobama and Romney was a game changer that will be talked about for decades to come. I believe that debate, and the public's perception of it, is entirely responsible for the Obama left having subsequently been thrown completely off their game.
Since that night, they have made increasingly desperate plays, which have all utterly failed, and have only compounded their dive to into oblivion.
Schadenfreude doesn't even begin to describe the satisfaction I'm experiencing right now.
As many of the Texas delegation recall I'd been debating that with them on FR for some time ~ and had worked up some numbers, and a critical soundbite or two.
Romney's factoid finders located it ~ fed him the same numbers, and the sound bites, and he used them, and Rick broke existential wind with a "heartless" remark.
He delivered it all perfectly right down to the comment about putting Mexicans ahead of Americans.
Actually folks, at that time I had intended for Newt to use it ~ but Romney was prepared to use it, had a team that could pick up on killer comments that PO the other guy in the debate, and proved he could deliver the lines with a teleprompter, and on the right time.
As evil as he is Axelrod has demonstrated time after time he cannot deal with such items because he simply does not think like us ~ he is the source of the foreign caste to the Obama regime.
Obama just does what he's told, and I have the feeling he didn't spend 10 minutes watching Romney in the debates to see what he was up against. Axelrod sure didn't realize it.
BTW, doesn't mean I support this guy, so I'll be tossing my best material to Conservatives who can figure out how to use it as well ~ in the meantime, Romney is, to say the least, a bold debater willing to cut gizzards and trample underfoot baby chicks.
