President Obama asked to show ID while voting
Washington Post ^ | October 25, 2012

The nation’s First Voter has cast his ballot – and, once again, made history. President Obama voted about 5:20 p.m. at a community center in his hometown of Chicago, punching his choices into a touch-screen machine after signing forms and showing his driver’s license. He is the first president to vote before election day.

“Now ignore the fact that there’s no gray hair on that picture,” Obama cracked to an election official. “I’m just glad I renewed my driver’s license.” Obama declined to reveal his choice for president, a subject of much humor over the past two days during his marathon swing state campaign blitz. “I can’t tell you who I’m going to vote for because it’s a secret ballot,’’ he joked earlier Thursday at a rally in Richmond, Va., drawing laughter from the crowd. “But the good news is, Michelle said she voted for me. She did.’’ In a short pitch he made in Chicago for early voting, Obama emphasized its ease and efficiency. “For all of you who have not yet early voted, I just want everybody to see what an incredibly efficient process this was,’’ he said. “…If something happens on election day you will have already taken care of it. If it’s bad weather you won’t get wet. Or in Chicago, snowy. But this was really convenient.’’

If he were as smart as they would have us believe he would have voted for Romney.

For the Washington Post, this is a hard news story. Let’s forget Fast and Furious and Benghazi is just a blip on the radar but, boy, when Obama casts a ballot for himself, this is worthy of news space!

I just do not get this elongated voting, we do now.
On election day polls are opened twelve hours, by law you must be allowed to vote without penalty, if you are unable to vote (whatever reason) you can vote by absently ballot if you request the ballot.

Did the UN agents “observe” him casting his vote to ensure that there was no “surpression”??

I personally know of too many liberals who are only voting because its becoming easier. If they had to actually get up and go out to vote on a specific day they likely wouldn’t vote at all.

Did the UN observers make him dip his finger in purple ink?

As long as they're here, I want to see who around me has voted.

I want to see if the landscaper who doesn't speak English voted.

I want to see if the Indian computer programmer who's here on an H-1B or L-1 visa voted.

The question is how many times he will vote before November.
