We all know that the DNI is a complete tool, and not a very sharp one at that. But among the many important questions to me that is not being asked is this one: Why is the current head of the Central Intelligence Agency, David Petraeus, still a part of this administration?

Petraeus knows that these are lies. He knows that materials seized by al Qaeda on location because of the incompetence and duplicity of this administration have almost certainly compromised and endangered CIA operatives and assets. But David Petraeus is completely mute. Why? He would render the country a great service by tendering his resignation -- and telling the country exactly WHY -- between now and November 6th.
