Panetta’s excuse that they did not have sufficient intel to send in the Delta unit does not hold water. If they had enough intel to send in the eight Marines from Tripoli, then they surely had enough intel to send in Delta as well. Why did you really tell Delta to stand down, Mr. Secretary???????

It wasn't the CIA that refused, I believe those kinds of decisions are above their pay grade. It was their commander in chief.

You are correct. There is only one person who has the authority to order US military forces to enter another country and open fire upon enemies of the United States: the Commander in Chief, Obama.

He refused to give that order.

No. The order was to stand down from a rescue mission to another location. The CIA annex at that point was not under attack. Disagree with it, but let’s keep our facts straight.

Obama is apparently now hoping that the American people will be gullible enough to believe that the CIA has the unilateral authority to hang a U.S. ambassador out to dry.

Why should reporters waste their time trying to get any kind of honest answer from someone who has lived a lie in so many forms all his life. The Manchurian President was put into the White Hut for one reason. Do the biding of those striving to undermined the United States of America, in a variety of ways.

We have known for weeks that the "consulate" was not an official DOS diplomatic operation, but a shaddy CIA post to carry out the weapon exchange agreements with Turkey.
The proper term that Fox and other's should be using for that complex should be loosely "mission house".
Nothing that has surfaced to now, leads me to any other conclusion.
As has been reported more as accurate is the "annex" was a CIA operation post.
And we know from as early as the four hour Issa hearing, that African Command under general Ham had offered to beef up those operations taking place at that Benghazi site with SECOPS if so desired. That it would not have cost the DOS a single dime. Free military security being offered.
The SoS most likely guided by the goons in the White Hut told them sorry but no help was needed.
AFRICOM did it's part.
