He was impeached in the House, tried in the Senate and let go free. How is that "bringing down a president". He left office with a high approval rating because, after all, this was only about sex, according to every lib in the country.
I listened to this exchange. The retired officer really put himself out there and provided some excellent information.
And having been part of an ambassadors protection detail, in the not too distant past, I can assure you that if an ambassador puts out a help call, people are gonna come running. And they wouldn’t need permission.
No, Carter is safe on this issue, if no other. The problem was the plan, which called for mid-trip refueling and which took no account of contingencies like sandstorms in a freakin’ desert. No doubt Carter had nothing to do with the planning except to sign off.
Not worse than Arnold. How many Americans would’ve died had we lost West Point. Impossible to say. Also, Arnold was to benefit directly. How this helps Obama I have no idea. You can say he was protecting the myth that the War on Terror is over or merely keeping bad news off the voters’ minds so near the election.
But the MSM would’ve covered it for them. All he did was make it a bigger story, and a story about him.
This is the most shocking material I have ever seen about the US government.
Treason is what it is called.

I think you’ll be a wee bit shocked ~!
Just an FYI .... read my post number 26 on this thread ~
Thanks for the ping. I think Valerie Jarrett would not give the President permission to launch the recovery for the same reason she would not give him permission to take out Osama bin Laden — a failed attempt would look bad politically. In this case, Panetta and the others were not ready to by-pass her and the President as they did in the case of Osama bin Laden.
It was Carter personally demanding a combined service operation, and sending Beckwith other service helicopter pilots rather than letting him choose himself. Carter's helicopter pilots killed the mission.
Thanks for the ping!
Carter did the right thing to TRY to rescue the hostages. Obama’s refusal to attempt rescue puts him in league with the al Quaeda who attacked us. His actions anured to the benefit of the killers of innocents. Obama did not have the courage to ORDER an attempt. It wasn’t like he would have to do the work himself. Just try. But politics got in the way of his duty. He made his choice. Now he needs to be held accountable....and I don’t mean the election. Congress needs to institute prosecution immediately to hold him accountable. This country cannot stand this type of despotism. It won’t long be tolerated. Carters’ was an honest foolishness. Obamas’ is deliberative and traitorous.
I listened to it from beginning to end. Its not often that Rush will just sit in silence while a caller talks. And he was doing plenty of that while this guy was putting it all out there.
With the language he was speaking, I have no doubt that he’s the real deal.
Hope this doesn’t come back and bite him in the a**, as the people he was criticizing are a wee bit vindictive.
More revisionist history from a congenital ignoramus.
You really are a nasty posting stalker, no matter what the thread, or the topic, you make a nonsensical personal attack.
You need to grow up and learn some adult discipline to control your emotions.
You need to stop acting like a poser, poser.
You admit you are a stalker and I am shocked at the level that you have taken this personal pain with you around freerepublic, I see you on thread after thread making these incredible personal attacks, when you could just merely post to the person about the topic at hand.
Whatever I did to you seems to have scarred you for life, but you need to try and get over it.
You could even show a little respect for freerepublic guide lines.
