Bank robber returns after not getting the full $20,000 he demanded

Arthur Bundrage  Arthur Bundrage of East Syracuse, New York, wanted $20,000 but instead of working for the money, he went to the Alliance Bank and asked the teller for the money.   Police said that around 9:00 am on Monday morning, Bundrage entered the Alliance Bank at 1001 James St. He approached a teller and demanded $20,000 in cash.   At first the teller refused to give him the money, but after Bundrage threatened her and told her he had gun, the teller handed him an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber then left the bank and the teller immediately called police.   After the bank robber counted the money he noticed that the he did not receive the full $20,000 he asked for. So he headed back to the Alliance Bank of Syracuse to get the rest of his money, police said.   Bundrage was unaware that cops had already arrived to investigate the robbery. Officers who were outside of the building saw Bundrage at a locked back door trying to make his way back inside. Bundrage was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.

I think the larceny charge was based on what the police actually witnessed. They could hold off the bank robbery charge until they organized the evidence. I am certain the final charge will not be 4th degree larceny, basically shoplifting.
