In the most precipitous decline it has seen in more than a year, President Barack Obama's job approval rating has dropped 7 points in three days, according to Gallup.

In the three-day period ending on Oct. 23, says Gallup, 53 percent said they approved of the job Obama was doing and 42 percent said they did not.

On Oct. 24, that dropped to 51 percent who said they approved and 44 percent who said they do not.

On Oct. 25, it dropped again to 48 percent who said they approved and 47 percent who said they do not.

On Oct. 26, it dropped yet again to 46 percent who said they approved and 49 percent who said they did not.

In May 2011, Obama's approval dropped 7 points in four days, sliding from 53 percent on May 24 to 46 percent on May 28.

I think that FoxNews special with Brett Baeir would have been powerful for casual viewers and drawn them in.

Very dramatic, and emotional.

“Could it be anything besides Baghazi?”

It might, but it’s possible that they are slapping their foreheads and going “DOH” over the fact that no one thought to shut down the internet and Rush before all this went down. Too many ways to get the truth and totally bypass the MSM. We all know what happened and are helping it get spread around.

They won’t make that mistake again.

I believe an update version is playing this weekend a couple of times.

Benghazi and the "I think I have to vote soon" crowd. Losers, perhaps yes, for not paying attention sooner, but with a drop like that looks like they will at least follow precedent and break for the challenger!

The effect is seasonal.

The days have become much shorter and the nights much colder, which has a concentrating effect on the mind.
More effort is required to obtain food when the weather is variable and staying warm requires the use of energy which must either be purchased in future months or be based on stockpiles initiated during the Summer.

That state of mind is the same which forces consequences to be part of the decision making process. A November vote is sobered by the face of prospects of surviving a Winter season, which is why the founders designed it into the system hundreds of years ago.

That father’s criticisms are so poignant.

This is like the show “24, all the personal drama, the President is a crook and has people killed. All the explosions, car chases, call for help, deception, cover-up, election. Amazing.

Other than Fox there is very little reporting on the Libyan scandal. It may have a small impact but I believe it is a little closer to home.

As the election draws near and the average American idiot actually starts to think about the upcoming election, a few things may cross her mind while she is filling up at the pump.

It is there that she must decide on whether or not she can afford to fill the tank all the way up or if she needs to pay the second notice bill to keep the lights on.

While grocery shopping she must decide whether she can stretch the package of hamburger to last all week so she can buy her child a much needed new pair of shoes.

On the drive home from the store she starts to think fondly of the good ole days when her currently unemployed spouse actually had a good paying job. Then she hears on the news that a local factory is laying off hundreds of workers again and she wonders if her brother will be one of the unlucky ones.

Then she, the average American idiot who voted for Obama last election, realizes that if Obama is reelected then she will have to live this way, or worse, for years to come. So will her family.

She finally has a moment of clarity and decides, no, the a$$clown in the White House is not doing a good job. She never knew where to lay the blame until she thought about the upcoming election.

Romney will win in a landslide.

The average American idiot, stopping off at the pump, or at the grocery store, or while paying the bills the week before the election will have a moment of clarity.

But, but... What about Ohio?

Funny that the Ohio Truthers never show up on these threads.
