There would be a downward spiral in the economy; what’s happending now would continue. We’d have the same political stalemate, the same approach by the WH.

Everyone would have to ride it out as things slowed down.

But it would get more and more economically painful.

If things got bad enough, so it became clear that we would have really big problems and not be able to make it 4 more years (very likely), the Senate would come up with an impeachment.

That’s what they see the role of their “club” as - stability.

In much the same way that the Senate winked and nodded and let him take office, rock solid grounds for impeachment would miraculously show up with about 80-20 bi-partisan support.

The “club” fixes things when they absolutely need to be fixed.

Deals get made.
