She’s protesting banks — but still getting a bailout.

The Florida housewife who abandoned her family to join Occupy Wall Street is divorcing, giving up custody of her four kids and taking a big payout from her husband.

Professional protester Stacey Hessler is legally splitting from her hubby, Curtiss, but not before waltzing off with a portfolio that includes cash and his 401(k) retirement fund, filled with stocks and other instruments of American capitalism.

The divorce settlement, filed Oct. 16, awards Occu-Mom the $79,585 fund and a $5,800 bank account. Her total take: $85,385.

May the money cause her only grief.

Her children are probably well served by her departure.

Corrupted leftist judiciary system rewarding corrupted leftist people. This insane cretin of a mother gets to steal mightily from her ex-family legally. Simply atrocious—wait until her bad karma returns upon them in full regalia.

His problem is that, at any time, she can decide to change her mind and demand custody and child support, and is likely to get it.

She can, but the circumstances of her departure (i.e. abandonment of the family) raises a very high bar that she would have to meet in order to be successful.

I doubt if any of them want to hear from her.

Truth.

My youngest is stopping by today so we can go shopping, after she hits the range. She's bringing me some .38 hollowpoint. She figures she'll inherit it eventually, anyway, she really likes grandma's revolver and I'm fronting the cash for the ammo. ;)

Be good to the kids. Everyone eventually goes tango uniform and it's good to have folks in your corner when that happens.

She’ll come back to lick the plate once she burns through the $85k. He got off cheap, no doubt.

“The children will be under primary care of their father,” state the settlement papers the couple jointly submitted. He has them every weekday, weekend, holiday and school break. She can see them any time, but only when “they want to see her” and only in a “safe environment,” the papers say.

I guess that means the kids won't be seeing her for quite some time then.

What a skank and a poor excuse for a mother. If she was true to her warped beliefs and forfeited the cash and 401(k), I could almost have some respect for her. But grabbing those "instruments of capitalism" for herself makes her a hypocrite as well as a loser.

I feel bad for the husband and kids. I don't know much about the husband but he seems like a decent guy and he is doing the right thing by kicking this tramp to the curb like the piece of trash that she is. Hopefully he finds another woman that is worthy of the title wife and mother.

I agree that he got off cheaply but hopefully he thinks to put up a website accepting donations to offset the loss of his 401(k). I bet he recoups that money in no time at all and I'll definitely kick in a few bucks myself.

As for this woman, I predict a bad end for her.

What a Sad Mentally Ill woman. I hope she comes to realize what a mistake she made selling out her family for a Flash in the Pan leftist “cause”. But sadly I predict the husband will get a phone call in a few years that they found his wifes body in a shabby tent dead from an OD. Poor Kids....

yep... sort of sounds like the wonderful mother of our zero prez... who felt it was more important to be out there promoting her “causes”, then to be bothered with raising a kid.

This sounds like the ex-wife of a friend of mine. He came home from work and found all of his furniture gone. Later she visits him and settles the divorce for an x amount of cash, can’t remember the exact amount, and then says that she will give him full custody of her son(from her previous marriage, my friend had adopted the kid as his own)for an additional $10,000. My friend paid gladly, she had no visitation rights what so ever.

she didn't get that "neglected dog" type matted hair over night... if she's too lazy to wash/brush her own hair, i'm sure she didn't do any better with her children's hair

$85,000 was prolly the best money he ever spent/got robbed of

“...She’ll end up at some Starbucks...”

Hopefully, she’ll end-up in a dumpster, face-down in stinking muck and garbage, where she belongs.

Hey, that’s an “Obama Gal!” What makes you think she’s not already sucking up all the freebees?

Is that what OWS is really about? My stuff and your sh**!

You called it...she’ll pay the usual penalty for early withdrawal of 401K money, and wind up with a little more than $50K. That won’t last long, even for a homeless person-cum-professional protester in NYC. Her friends in the Occupy Movement will be happy to help her spend it, and dump here when its gone.

And judging by her age/looks, I don’t think she has much of a future as a working girl, either.

BTW, I wonder how much she’s collected in welfare benefits since arriving in Bloomberg’s Nanny Utopia?

She's an empty headed douche-bag. She abandoned her children to become the drug addled cum-dumpster of the occupy lowlifes. That $85k will turn out to be the best investment the husband ever made.

Yeah sounds like $85K is a bargain considering the price of professional consoling for the next 30 years and then the divorce.
