Here in New England (MA/NH border), the storm is starting to peter out. We did have some high winds this afternoon that brought some trees and branches down with scattered power outages but no major damage. Maybe a couple inches of rain which is now starting to subside. Pretty much your typical northeaster in these parts with the exception that the winds are stronger than we usually see.

A year ago at this time, I was without power for four days (Halloween snowstorm) but have not lost it in this storm yet and hopefully that remains the case.

Good news is that most of New England should be getting back to normal tomorrow and we can turn our focus back to Tuesday's election (and Halloween on Wednesday).

That is good news. This new storm, not a monster, still has the potential to make some serious rainfall flooding and snow. And it will have to move east eventually. So hopefully she wont hit you on the way back out to sea.

Yeah, I'm planning to fly South on Wed. morning, and even though Delta was offering to let folks change flights without charge, I decided to just keep my reservation. Looks like it will have cleared up by Wed. am, in time to get out. WooHoo!

And it looks like the kiddy-winks will have a Halloween this year, unlike last year, when most towns cancelled it because of the piles of snow, and folks without power. We bought candy, just in case!
