If he thinks for second that postponing the election will help him, he’ll sign a new law like he’s done for more than three years.

The only thing that he can sign into law is a bill that has been passed out of Congress. Executive Orders are limited to the actions of his Administration. He cannot issue an EO to the Courts, the Congress or to the American people. If he could, he would have issued one imposing a 65% tax increase on all Americans making more than $10.00 a day.

There will be no rescheduling of election day this year.

Agreed. 95% of the country is not affected by this storm and 95% of the country will be voting this Tuesday. Individual states can post-pone their election if they want, I suppose. But, any state truly affected by the storm is already going for Obama. So maybe (and I emphasize maybe) New York, New Jersey, and Conecticut will choose to wait a week or two but, but who cares? They are already in the tank for Zero. It will have no affect on the outcome.

I could see local officials making common-sense accomodations for voters. If your neighborhood has been evacuated, you should be able to vote at a different precinct. If your neighborhood lost power, even if evacuation wasn't mandatory, you shouldn't be denied the privelege of voting because you moved in with friends or relatives. This likely means hundreds of thousands of provisional ballots with associated risks.

In NYC, there's really not much mystery who will get the Electoral College votes. In NJ, my native state, local government is so riddled with corruption that manual voting will simply cement a win for Obama there. Virginia and North Carolina are where Romney needs to focus on making sure storm damage isn't used as a vehicle for cheating.

The problem with vote fraud is there's almost never a remedy. The illegally elected offical is already installed before it comes to light. Exhibit 1, Al Franken.

Individual states CANNOT postpone or reschedule election for Federal Offices, they just cannot. Its in the US Code, which supersedes any state law. Obama cannot issue any executive order or mandate. The elections are going to happen next Tuesday, all wacky conspiracy theories aside.

Really? I was under the impression that individual states could postpone elections. I thought all elections were maters of the state. Can you please elaborate? I hope you are correct.

I know your right about all of that.......BUT there's still one problem we have to contend with....

What makes you think Obozo (or Eric Holder) would follow the law now?

And even if a Federal Judge ordered Obozo to stop, what makes you think they would even listen.........
