Failure to release on time would be ... unexpected.
Gallup’s mid-month report had unemployment at 7.3%. They normally track about 2 tenths less than the actual BLS end-of-month release.
It is a mistake to make a big deal out of the release of the September UE3.
My guess, based on Gallup’s past experience, is that it’s coming in at about 7.5%.
IOW, making a big media splash enables the Gov’t to be saying’ “Don’t throw me in that briar patch, Brer Fox.”
Then they get a free build up that slams into the media making them look good 4 days before the election.
Better to get it over with, but also better not to paint them as reluctant and then have “good” numbers come out.
I believe the bulk of jobs growth will again be some combination of part time, discouraged workers, governmental hiring, etc.
All that information is DIGITAL.
What reason is there that the data cannot be analyzed in another location?
If they are busting their a$$es to get it out on time, to me, that can only mean that in fact, the numbers are GOOD for Obama. (These people in Government are usually liberal
worked there for many years). Or not, who knows...
How long does it take to make up Obama’s numbers anyway?
Translated, that means: “We have massaged the numbers to Chairman Obamao`s satisfaction. Thus, we are prepared to inform the masses of the Chairman`s great and astounding success in reducing unemployment to a negligible figure. All hail the Great Reader!!!”
DUH! Just make up a number and publish it. You are going to do that anyway. Just strip away all the bogus machinations.
There is light rain and light wind in the DC Metropolitan area today.
And, of course, because of these “conditions”, the US Government is closed in the area. Can’t inconvenience the Washington bureaucrats, can we?
Reporting facts and figures is easy, it is making up things that takes a little time and creativity.
Uh, correct me if I'm worng here, but I could swear I remember learning that there is a 3-month lag in the data collected for most economic statistics provided by federal gubmint propoganda agencies; as a result, why would there be a delay in releasing these numbers? You don't suppose they could be delaying the release because they are detrimental to the ignorant no talent a$$ clown do you? /s
Department of Labor staff busily working on job report.
We are ‘working very hard’ but it may take another Labor Board or another election to get the jobs report. /s
Now where have I heard that excuse before.
There, true title restored.
In truth, the overwhelming majority of Americans no longer believe ANYTHING Obozo, the MSM and his so-called "administration" report or say about ANYTHING because they LIE and OBFUSCATE about EVERYTHING!
