can anyone explain to me why New England is so liberal politically? I spent a fair amount of my youth living in CT and a lot of time in my 20’s skiing in VT and NH. I always have this vision of a New Englander as being the nice good old American couple in their 50’s who love their little rural plot of land and living with the NH creed of “live free or die”
It just baffles me.
