By first recognizing that capitalism isn't based on greed. It's based on productivity, deferred gratification, and hard work.
The "greed" that must be addressed is the greed of people who think the government owes them a living. It is not "capitalism" to buy influence during elections and then use that influence to get the government to steal money from some people and give the money to those who bought the influence.
The "green" industries, with their massive failures immediately following infusions of government loans have nothing to do with capitalism. They are the results of greed.
The massively underfunded pensions of teachers and other government workers is not the result of capitalism. It is the result of greed.
The "trains to nowhere" have no connection with capitalism. The thousands of "studies" purchased from universities with hard-earned tax dollars are not capitalism.
The so-called "safety-net" has become a spider web of inducements to behave in self-destructive behavior, not capitalism.
The War on Some Drugs has created a government "industry" which is more dependent upon illegal drugs than any junkie.
Some hope that Romney can help us find a way out of the chaos which has been created by unlimited government. The best that I hope for is that Romney will intentionally reduce the burdens of government that would be forced upon Obama by economic necessity. There is no way that Romney will be able to reduce government spending without incredible suffering which reaches every corner of the nation.
We are destined to live our lives during "interesting times".
