Why did we overthrow the government in Libya? I’m no peacenik. I’m just asking. Why does Obama care one bit about Libya? What’s in it for him and his Democrat pals? He’s a grifter and likes money. I saw a post about Obama’s buddies making money off of the rebuilding in Iraq. So I looked at the connection at illinoispaytoplay.com Read the three part story. I look at people’s motives for doing things. If Obama screwed things up in Libya because of a real American interest, wouldn’t he be more forthcoming and say, “Yeah, but we did it for the good of the country.” He hasn’t done that. He’s hiding a bigger, personal secret. He’s been setting the Middle East on fire so him and his buddies can make money rebuilding it. I think it’s like having arsonists own the home furnishing store in town. They set fire to a house to burn up the furniture so the homeowner will have to come to them to buy replacement furniture. Read it and prove me wrong.

Why did we overthrow the government in Libya?

To give control of Islam to unite the Middle East against the Jews. Satan has a plan. This is part of it.

I don't think Obama cared about Libya either. And to say that the purpose of the "consulate" in Libya was ambiguous is an understatement.

Moreover, when considering this ambiguity, has anyone considered the possibility that when all was said and done someone in the Obama administration may have wanted Chris Stephens dead? It is to be noted that Stephens was reportedly helping the Syrian rebels by running guns into Syria through Turkey?

Russia is in cahoots with Assad, not the rebels, and has been providing the Assad government with weapons.

Was an Assad-ruled Syria a component of Obama's "more flexibility after the election" comment to Medvedev.....and a hot mic?

Wasn't there also a recent incident in which Syrian shells landed on Turkish soil?

Tension between the two neighbors, once close allies, is at its highest since Ankara turned against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad last year over his violent crackdown on anti-government protests...read more...

Again, Stephens was reportedly running guns into Syria through Turkey to help the rebels against Assad. If he was doing this on the sly with the approval of Hillary Clinton and/or Obama, could this not have created a problem with Putin?

Another thing to consider is that Turkey is a member of NATO. Russia is not.

Moreover, Russia is no less anti-NATO now than she was when she was called the Soviet Union and she is no less intent on undermining and ultimately destroying NATO now than she was back then. (See book COMRADE J "COMRADE J" is the codename for KGB/SVR agent Sergei Tretyakov who defected to the United States)

Tretyakov describes to author Pete Earley the deterioration of the KGB after the fall of the Soviet Union, but he explains that Moscow never ceased its intelligence operations against the United States, which he describes as SVR’s “main target,” followed by NATO and China.

Wouldn't an attack on Turkey by Russia-backed Syria entitle Turkey to NATO protection?

Of course there were the usual crocodile tears over the murder of Ambassador Stephens...

One more thing....

Whatever public statements UN Ambassador Susan Rice may make about Russia, it should nevertheless be noted that Rice comes out of the Brookings Insititute where she was a close associate of Brookings Institute President Strobe Talbott who served as Deputy Secretery of State under President Bill Clinton and had once been dubbed "Russia's Man in Washington."

Moreover, Susan Rice's job as U.N. Ambassador had been elevated to a cabinet post by Obama - probably in order to appease Rice who had been trolling for the job of Secretery of State?

Former UN Ambassador John Bolton did not think it was a good idea to elevate the office of UN Ambassador..........

Former U.N. Ambassador John R. Bolton has publicly opposed the granting of cabinet-level status to the office, stating "One, it overstates the role and importance the U.N. should have in U.S. foreign policy, second, you shouldn't have two secretaries in the same department."

I think that while we are in the process of examining all the disinformation, the lies and the "fog of politics" associated with the Benghazi incident, we must be careful not to allow it to become the red herring that causes us to take our eyes off Russia. During the third presidential debate on foreign policy, Mitt Romney said "I am not going to wear rose-colored glasses when it comes to Russia or Mr. Putin, and I’m certainly not going to say to him, ‘I’ll give you more flexibility after the election........"
