'Forward': Obama gets a little electioneering in during FEMA briefing (again at Red Cross photo op)

President Obama may have suspended his campaign rallies due to Hurricane Sandy, but he managed to squeeze in his campaign slogan — intentionally or not — during a briefing Tuesday with federal emergency officials.

"The president made clear that he expects his team to remain focused as the immediate impacts of Hurricane Sandy continue and lean forward in their response," the White House said in a statement about Mr. Obama's video-teleconference that he conducted from the White House Situation Room. "Forward" is the slogan of his re-election campaign.

I too noticed the “learn FOWARD” photo opt. He is a disgrace. Was there not a “VIEW” taping or “LENO” taping for today? Maybe he will be doing a little;) ;) Springsteen GET together in Jersey tonight . He needs to be out in the sand dunes delivering some free phones to those in need!

“The president made clear that he expects his team to remain focused as the immediate impacts of Hurricane Sandy continue and lean forward in their response,” the White House said in a statement about the teleconference. “Forward” is the slogan of his re-election campaign. Also, “Lean forward” is the motto of MSNBC, the cable network that relentlessly promotes the president’s re-election.

Obama will cancel the entire week for campaigning, thinking he can sideline Romney, and then get to campaign from the Rose Garden/Sitch Room.

As pointed out many places, the term "Forward" is a Leninist propaganda slogan Washington Times article.

"Progressives" have always proclaimed that the way Forward was to Scientific Communism, the end state of society, the Proletarian Paradise.

Saw that on Fox News. He looked / sounded tentative and tired, reading from TelePrompTer. Not the image of a strong confident leader. He must not be used to staying up all night listening to serious briefings.
