MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Mitt Romney is suddenly plunging into traditionally Democratic-leaning Minnesota and Pennsylvania, and his GOP allies are trying to put Michigan into play. It's forcing President Barack Obama to defend his own turf - he's pouring money into television ads in the states and dispatching top backers - in the campaign's final week.

Get out and vote, everyone!
“I don’t know how to feel about this story.”
Feel good about it.
Romney will carry Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania
LOL-of all the wording AP could have used, they put “plunging” in the headline.
He’s got nothing to say in his ads. Hopefully the more they see of this guy in PA and MN they’ll see just what an empty suit he is.
Obama did the same thing in 2008..he had the election wrapped up so he started playing Ads in Red states to rub it in that he had the election in the bag..now Romney is doing the same thing..Obama’s goose is cooked
Plowing it up, more like ! !
They were going to say diving, but thought it would be too obvious. LOL
Talk about a teaser! Obamaites see the first few words: "Romney, GOP suddenly plunging". "Oh boy" they think. "Good news at last! They they read the rest: "...onto Democratic turf". "Aaaaargh"!!!
I am union and I vote straight Republican most elections. Just because you have strong unions doesn't mean they are going to vote for a marxist who insists on bankrupting America.
When MN, WI, MI and PA are in play, you know its bad for the One.
He may still hold on to them - but it can only come at the cost of losing OH. So where to defend the firewall?
This was not the situation the Obama campaign and the MSM imagined a month ago. The terrain is rapidly shifting in ways that favor his opponent.
Its like 2008 - but now its the other way around!
