Ann Coulter is defending a liberal Republican! Ann's being disingenuous with Stossel by not admitting the obvious warts of Mitt's liberalism, and how his administration would likely resemble Gerald Ford's or G.H.W. Bush's than Ronald Reagan's.
By defending him up and down the line and refusing to discuss certain topics that can't be spun for Mittens, she checks her cred at the door in exchange for an invitation to the insiders' victory ball.
I wish she wouldn't do stuff like this. You can concede the obvious, that Mittens is better than drooling, mad-dog Marxists, without going to the wall for him across the board.

No not at all... but if Mitt does half of what he has promised to do... we will be well set for a Conservative to implement the real changes needed. Mitt will kill off obamacare... yes we will get mittcare but the gop will be voting and shaping it and NOT the communist party USA... he will restore fear in our enemies... stop the Military cuts... increase security for our embassies and help cut taxes and regulations on my business and he does not hate America and he is not a muslim. For now... contrasted with obama... it is enough.

No other candidate that was running for the GOP could do as well in this election as Romney is doing.
No other candidate could have made the case for saving the economy.
No other candidate would be +19 or +20 with independents like Romney is.
I would have paid real money to watch Gingrich go against 0bama in the debates. Mitt did good, Newt would have whooped his @$$. The cartoons drawn over that would have been priceless.
The reason I say only Mitt could do it... I mean, Mitt has a total record of economic success. He has a line of people a mile long that give personal stories of how Mitt Romney helped and inspired them.
Rush says that Mitt Romney is a 100 miles from a scandal. (Meaning there is none) Good family man. A really good role model for ...well everyone. Shares his belief in God with out hesitation.
Seems to me that Mitt Romney is just the right person that we would want to be running the country.
He's not perfect... none of us are.
With all that going for him, he still has to fight to get the majority of people to vote for him. I just don't see that any of the others could have pulled that off.

Who would be 10 points behind Obama right now.
Until we return to an era when the message once again matters more than the look and feel of the messenger, we have to play the game as it is.

I believe GOD gives us whom we deserve and I certainly hope for a reprieve from Obama. So, yes, for that I am grateful to God and for Romney being there. No conservative will ever again be president.
I’m stuck now wondering what God has in mind for us with Romney, should he win. I mean there is that record of his that is an abomination to social conservatives. You can say it was MA made him do it, but ouch on trying that one. You know what I mean?
I just pray through all decaying conditions in our country believing I know exactly why they have been allowed to come upon us.

I agree.
I think we need someone that has a message palatable to the masses. Once in, he can lead by example.
I'm not sure people will ever return to the days of the message over appeal.
I mean, you can't be chasing the quick fix, the quick gratification, fast emotion, weak mindedness that is our social fabric now. Then expect people to all of a sudden have some deep thought once every four years...
