So, you seem to be saying Romney was fully aware of the needs of the Red Cross but deliberately ignored them in order to make political points. That would also logically mean that he was hoping no one else was aware of the Red Cross’s “no canned goods” policy which would make him both dumb and evil at the same time.

It might also, however, be possible that he had some plan to get the donated goods where they are needed using the considerable resources at his disposal.

I’d lay money that Romney’s only mention of Red Cross was to encourage monetary donations. I don’t think he linked the canned food to Red Cross. This isn’t his first rodeo, he knows who accepts only cash and who knows how to distribute the goods.

Also, MSNBC was being critical and snarky about Romney’s efforts, and are therefor worthy of MUCH criticism.
