DEM EARLY VOTE LEAD IN FLORIDA DOWN 70% OVER 2008
Breitbart Big Government ^ | October 31,2012 | by JOHN NOLTE

For those of you saying, "That's all well and good but Obama is still ahead," here are more hard numbers: 2.2 million early votes have thus far been cast in the Sunshine State. This isn't a juicy-juice poll, these are cold hard numbers. Among those early votes cast, Democrats are only up 43-41%. Yes, that's still a two point lead, but Romney is winning Independents in Florida by anywhere from 6 to 10%, and thus far 17% of Florida Indies have voted early.

That likely isn’t enough of a cushion to overcome the two-point deficit, but it's just a fact that on Election Day, Republicans turn out at a higher percentage than Democrats. Also, the most recent polls out of Florida do not in any way match up to the actual early vote numbers. Rasmussen has Obama winning the early vote by 10 points but still losing 50-48% to Romney. It's not lag time, either. Rasmussen's poll was taken last Friday. The actual early vote count showing Democrats only up 2% was released yesterday.

The just-released Quinnipiac polls showing Obama up one in Florida shows Obama beating Romney by six-points with early voters. The last date of this particular survey was Sunday. So there might be a lag-time, but a jump in four points in just two days with 2.2 million early votes already cast is a huge jump and unlikely.

Finally, almost every poll, including today's from Quinnipiac, show Republican enthusiasm at or nearing a double-digit advantage over Democrats -- and we Righties like to vote on Election Day.

Here’s what I figure.... the hardcores will early vote, the remainder will not vote at all or reluctantly vote, so I still think we’ve got a good chance here.

2 point lead? O will get swamped in FL’s I-4 corridor. This is statistically nothing!

But QP/NYT/CBS pretend he can still win there.

“on Election Day, Republicans turn out at a higher percentage than Democrats”

Bob Beckel was just on Fox saying the opposite.

There is only one way anyone can say that the early vote favors Ds, and that is through exit polling.

How reliable was that in 04??

Poor Bob Beckel - I don’t envy him at all as the election winds down to its final days. They don’t have the kind of turnout they had in 2008.

And I don’t expect it to get better on November 6th.

Oh I see. Dems are always ahead in early voting and also turn out more on election day? LOL

Yea okay Beckel.

The whole idea of counting votes before the election is bothersome to me. If they want to collect some votes early, that is less bothersome -- but the early votes should not be touched until the first Tuesday in November.

With early counting, we leave ourselves open to a scenario where David Axelrod sits in a war room and says, "You know, if Florida had just 538 more votes for us, we could take the state. Sally -- go make that happen."

Sure both campaigns might be able to take that sort of action, but the least honest party is the more likely to actually put the plan into effect.

I don’t think they count them. However, they cross out those who already have voted. So, what this piece is saying is that 43% of votes cast belong to registered Democrats, 41% to registered Republicans. How they have voted no one knows as yet - but one can guess.

I don’t have HDTV, but even I could see the beads of perspiration on his upper lip as he said it. He talks big, but he knows.

Bob Beckel and Chris Matthews may have to piss on each others legs on election night.

You can tell he’s only holding it together so as not to depress the dem turnout.

Could be that the effort to clean up FL voter rolls had the salutary effect of keeping the NY voters and illegal alien voters from voting. That is the kind of “voter suppression” that should be done in every state.

The whole early voting situation stinks. It distorts Election Day, it’s a perfect setup for vote fraud, and it increases the impact of the lazy and uninformed to be herded to the polls.

Brother voted early in Winter Park Orange County today .
A bus load of blacks with Miami addresses tried to vote and were told to go back to Miami !
The people in line clapped and the sheriff on duty noted the vans license plate .
Brother asked the polli h staff and The poll watchers had just called the other poll locations to be on the look out !

Fl is lost to the Commie this year.

O won Florida by turning out D+3 and getting a significant percentage of Republicans to vote for him.

If he’s losing 70% of his early vote lead, the D+3 isn’t going to happen. Republicans voting for him isn’t going to happen. And in 2010, the GOP kicked butt in Florida with D+0 turnout.

We’re looking good!
