I’m just amazed at the racial healing that has happened under The One. sarc/ So Lowery believes all the whites who risked their lives to help blacks during the civil rights movement will deservedly go to hell because they are white.
I'll say it. I've met Joseph Lowery. I'm a white man. I disagree with his politics in the extreme, but when I met him he was extremely gracious, conversant, genteel and dignified. He seemed like a fine man, a respectful old-school Democrat. I have always had the same personal opinion of Andrew Young, whom I've also met.
It sounds like Rev. Lowery might have flipped his lid.
